Pairing: Neal/Sara
Prompt: "Continental drift"

Sara knew that what Neal said to her on top of the Empire State Building wasn't real, but she carried that feeling with her all the way to London. For three months, she nurtured the hope that maybe there was something beyond that conman's smile. But hope couldn't survive in silence.

Fandom: White Collar
Pairing: Neal/Peter/El
Prompt: "Loved by both of them"
Prompted by: [livejournal.com profile] scripps

His life had been rich, filled with amazing adventures, moments of great danger and times of fear. He'd experienced love in so many shapes and forms, he'd lost count. And yet, the grandest adventure, the moment of greatest danger, when he felt the most fear, was discovering that he was loved by Peter and Elizabeth and that he loved them, too.

Fandom: Suits/White Collar
Pairing: Mike/Neal
Prompt: "Intelligence"
Prompted by: [livejournal.com profile] scripps

It had always been a competition between the two of them - who was smarter. Mike insisted that he won, simply because he hadn't gone to prison. Neal just smirked and said, "Not yet."

Fandom: White Collar
Pairing: Neal/Sara
Prompt: "Truth"
Prompted by: [livejournal.com profile] saoirse7

He owed it to her and Neal was a man who needed to pay his debts, even when it took half a lifetime and a trip halfway around the world. Twenty years since they last saw each other, Neal tracked Sara down in a plush hotel lobby in Singapore where she was sharing a drink with a man old enough to be her father and he had no compunction about interrupting them, especially not after seeing her eyes light up when their gazes met. Neal dropped to his knees, took her hand and said, "Repo, you were always the one for me."

Eeeeeeee! You wrote Suits fic!

I've always had this picture in my mind of Neal and Mike chatting it up at a party, each giving the other a knowing smirk. You captured that beautifully in so very few words.

These were all just wonderful; complete stories even though they're only three sentences long. Honestly, I can't choose a favorite (though I'm sure you can tell which way I'd lean, if I did).

Well done, m'dear!

I love this kind of challenge, and all of these were neat-- complete little vignettes, despite the brevity!

Lovely.

I am always amazed at how much story and emotion can be put into just 3 short sentences.
Really liked the way the "fake" proposal (which felt everything but fake when I watched the ep) and the real proposal worked as bookends.

Thank you for sharing.

These are all great! I especially like the suits one. :) And the proposal at the end.
