Rhett Carlyle, At Your Service

No, this isn't another excuse to show this picture:

I was just reading this op-ed piece, A Novel Scorned, and I finally made the connection.

Neal calls himself "Rhett" as in Rhett Butler.

*boggles*

Seriously?

Seriously?!

Elr, I'm disappointed in you.

Then again, if you taking a week to figure this out gives us another purty piccie of butler!Neal, I'm okay with you being a wee bit slow on the uptake. *g*

::blushes:: And I thought Neal had said "Rick Carlyle".

Rhett (Carlyle the) Butler is unforgivable, and I like puns.

Gotta admit, I missed it too. Has anyone actually ever been named Rhett?

Watched My Man Godfrey this past weekend and nearly snorted when the female lead asked if he could butle or however it's spelled). although the character is more Peter than Neal

Neal used the term toilet wine in one episode, so the prison bitch thing might be Caffrey and not Matt.
