You Know What They Say About Not Shopping When You're Hungry?

Well, the same holds true when you're thirsty.

Went to Costco during my lunch hour, all I needed was toilet paper, smoked salmon and some fruit.  What I bought was:

1 case of Seltzer
1 case of Pelligrino Peach Soda/Orange Soda
1 2-bottle pack of Mango Smoothie
1 2-bottle pack of Berry Smoothie
1 gallon jug of organic Apple Cider (I actually contemplated the organic Orange Juice but declined)

Plus said TP and lox (and no fruit).

I was very thirsty from my bowl of noodle soup a/k/a the vaguely chicken flavored salt wash.

Other random thing.

I finally figured out how to post a multi-entry story without all of the parts spamming your flists.  I need to ticky the "Date Out of Order" option (click on the "Edit" button next to the date in your entry).  You don't have to change the date, simply selecting Date Out of Order means that the item doesn't show up in people's flists.  So very easy when you want to post multiple chapters on the same day and not annoy your friends. 

Other random thing, the second.

Apparently Jeff Eastin thinks very highly of slash.  He answered ladyeternal's tweet:

It made me wonder if he talked to Simon and Matt about his decision and what Matt thought about it! :) (Simon used to rep Zach but Zach has another company handling him now)

I hope it leads Matty to decide to kiss his husband in public. And that's not *just* a selfish desire! At this point, with the state of our culture and the horror some of our gay kids go through, it could very likely save lives.

I cried when I read what Zach had written. I remember when Queerty had posted some old pics of Matt and his boyfriend - making it seem like Matt was stepping out on Simon, and Zach had stepped in - he became my hero then.

I love him more now. It's not something that should ever be an issue - but it is. And that sucks.

Kudos to Zach on a heartfelt and positive message!

I only wish that it wouldn't also lead the nasty bloggers to get all over Matt - again - for choosing not to talk about his private life. And it will. Actually from what I've heard, it already has. The vitriol some of these folks spew at Matt is really disheartening.
