Smut Swap 2019 Dear Author Letter
Dear Author:
Here are a few guidelines about my likes and dislikes and the fandoms I've selected for this challenge, as well as a few suggestions that you can take a general guidelines. I know you're not bound to honor anything that is not a clearly stated Do Not Want "DNW" or in the selections from the tag set in my signup form. i.e., the preferences for who bottoms and tops is up to you.
Generally speaking, while the challenge focuses on smut, smut, and more smut, but really do love adult relationships where the characters behave like adults. They communicate and they don't allow misunderstandings to linger like a houseguest who's forgotten where the front door is. I love happy endings, but I also love angst, but not unreasonable, untenable or unfixable situations.
Basically, Porn With Feels + Happily Ever After.
Even though it may not apply to this challenge, I have to note that I've also just gone through a terrible illness and while I'm on the road to recovery, reading about another sick character is going to be difficult for me (which has kind of ruined my favorite H/C fics, but I hope that in time, I'll be able to put this behind me and enjoy them again. Just not now.
Kink is good (which is why I've signed up for this challenge), but within these limits (further defined below): No bodily fluids (other than come), no daddy kink or age play (but if you use daddy kink as a form of dom/sub, Master and Sir are good terms), and although I've not selected the Non-Con/Rape warning as a preference for something to be included in your story, you can write non-con/dub-con in your story, provided that it has been previously negotiated (i.e., it is a form of sexual role-play/fantasy, or even as an option to avoid a greater harm). But please, no graphically depicted violent rape, even though some of the Original Work relationship tags may seem to lead you there. I also have a very powerful humiliation squick in all its forms; the only thing that will make me back-button faster out of a story faster than graphic rape is humiliation.

A few words about what I do like in terms of kinks, across all of the fandoms I've selected. If there is a theme to my requested kinks, it's that I want gentleness, kindness, respect, love, care, and concern for one's partner. I also love Alpha/Beta/Omega dynamics, and even though I didn't specify any of the sub-kinks, I do enjoy a story ending with mpreg. I love smart people doing smart things, occasionally with stupid results. People being awed by their partner's intellectual and emotional intelligence is a common theme in my own writings and would love to see it in yours, too.
Now, on to the fandoms!
Kingsman (Movies)
Relationship(s): Kingsman is my primary fandom right now and I am a multi-shipping mama. I adore the fandom's primary ship – Hartwin (Harry Hart | Galahad / Gary "Eggsy" Unwin), but I am just as heavily invested in Merwin (Merlin/Eggsy) and Merhartwin (Merlin/Harry/Eggsy). What I love about these characters is their competence, their self-assurance, their moments of despair. I love the ancillary characters – Roxy | Lancelot, and how fandom has fleshed out Percival and James | Lancelot (Kingsman's equivalent of Phil Coulson/Clint Barton, but not only do these two never appear on screen together, Percival has no dialogue and James is killed shortly after the opening credits).
What I don't like or want is anything to do with The Golden Circle. The gratuitous deaths of Roxy and the rest of Kingsman, and then Merlin's pointless death at the end of the movie have made this a no-go for me. And while I refuse to bash Eggsy's relationship with Princess Tilde (and their subsequent marriage), I simply don't like it.

Inspector Morse and Related Fandoms
Relationship(s): Of all the great British procedurals, Inspector Morse and the Inspector Lewis spin-off are my favorites, and the relationships I've felt most fannish about are the ones between Morse and Lewis and Lewis and Hathaway. Regarding Inspector Morse, there's something very painful about the relationship between Morse and Lewis - codependence, antagonism, respect (reluctantly on Morse' part), and I'd love to see that explored in a sexual relationship. Regarding Inspector Lewis, I particularly love the relationship of mutual respect and awe between Robbie and James, and in the context of Smut Swap, I'd love to see this explored from the perspective of first times. Also, James has a very lovely voice, as we know from the phone sex scene in Whom the Gods Must Destroy, S1, E2 (or E1 if you're in the US and don't get the actual pilot episode), so something focusing on voice kink would be lovely.

What can I say other than White Collar has long been my very happy place. I've tortured Neal over the years in more ways than I care to count, given him and Peter and Elizabeth many strange and delightful sexual situations. While Peter/Elizabeth/Neal will always be my OT3 – these three characters and the respect that they gave each other in canon had lit a fire that still burns brightly in my heart, but for Smut Swap, I want just Peter/Neal. However, I don't want is adultery – either Elizabeth has given her love and consent, or Peter and Elizabeth aren't married (gay or bi-Peter is wonderful and fine). Just no cheating here, please.

I always feel like I'm on the bus to hell when I write or request RPF, but when I saw the tag for Colin/Mark, I knew I had to request it. I don't think these guys are in any kind of sexual relationship (I'm not a tin-hatter), but it's a nice fantasy, and they are friends (or so I would hope, after making five movies together. Many of my requested kinks are related to on-set shenanigans. I'd like you to ignore the problems between Colin and Livia Firth in 2018, and make it clear in the story that any relationship between Mark and Colin has their wives blessing (or basically, I'd prefer this not to be a story focusing on infidelity). Crossover Fandoms
The ideas I've sketched out here are all canon-adjacent, but I'm always up for AUs, particularly historical AUs or being creative with careers. Have fun and have at it!
1. Neal Caffrey (White Collar)/Harry Hart (Kingsman) - Bottom Neal is preferred
I have to admit that Neal Caffrey as a former Kingsman trainee is practically canon for me – it's the only thing that explains his rather unending well of unique talents (languages, sharp shooting, jumping from tall buildings). There are infinite ways that Neal and Harry could have met – perhaps Neal had picked Harry's pocket, or conned one of Harry's marks into buying a forgery, or maybe Harry had met Neal on a mission and used him as an asset (or maybe used him in bed), and then though he was worth proposing as a candidate.
2. Neal Caffrey (White Collar)/Merlin (Kingsman) - Bottom Neal is preferred
Continuing with the theme of Neal as a Kingsman trainee, perhaps during Neal's time as a candidate, he caught the eye of a stern quartermaster who wasn't going to be taken in by Neal's beauty and charm, until he was.
3. Neal Caffrey/Eggsy Unwin (Kingsman) - No preference, either Bottom Neal or Bottom Eggsy is fine.
This can go so many ways, Neal is the target of a Kingsman honeypot and Eggsy's the assigned agent (what a hardship), they just sort of meet in London or Paris or wherever and fall into bed. Neal could be a Kingsman tailor customer and Eggsy's on duty the day he comes it.
4. Victoria Winslow (RED)/Harry Hart (Kingsman) - No preference about the penetrating partner

1. Neal Caffrey (White Collar)/Harry Hart (Kingsman) - Bottom Neal is preferred
I have to admit that Neal Caffrey as a former Kingsman trainee is practically canon for me – it's the only thing that explains his rather unending well of unique talents (languages, sharp shooting, jumping from tall buildings). There are infinite ways that Neal and Harry could have met – perhaps Neal had picked Harry's pocket, or conned one of Harry's marks into buying a forgery, or maybe Harry had met Neal on a mission and used him as an asset (or maybe used him in bed), and then though he was worth proposing as a candidate.
2. Neal Caffrey (White Collar)/Merlin (Kingsman) - Bottom Neal is preferred
Continuing with the theme of Neal as a Kingsman trainee, perhaps during Neal's time as a candidate, he caught the eye of a stern quartermaster who wasn't going to be taken in by Neal's beauty and charm, until he was.
3. Neal Caffrey/Eggsy Unwin (Kingsman) - No preference, either Bottom Neal or Bottom Eggsy is fine.
This can go so many ways, Neal is the target of a Kingsman honeypot and Eggsy's the assigned agent (what a hardship), they just sort of meet in London or Paris or wherever and fall into bed. Neal could be a Kingsman tailor customer and Eggsy's on duty the day he comes it.
4. Victoria Winslow (RED)/Harry Hart (Kingsman) - No preference about the penetrating partner
