I've been busy, not just with the words, but with the beads and the needle and thread. Thought I'd share some recent efforts:

The portraits themselves are hand painted on onyx. Not by me, but by Russian artisans who also paint that incredible lacquerware.

I just go crazy with the beadwork.

Well, the portraits are truly lovely but it's the beading, the color selection, the intricacy of the designs, that really make these.

Yes, the artists clearly were inspired by Mucha.
