I am grinning from ear to ear. That was so unexpected, but brilliant. I LOVE all the little things you put in there, from the animal's temperaments and the hilarity of Mozart's antics to the emotional angst. I don't know how to say how much I loved this fic. It made me smile, laugh and cry. And it was just so different. I love that Neal found a family in pets, it was refreshing. Even more, I love that you made Peter understand the why - months before he found out the truth. No, they didn't deserve to go through that pain, but it kept them all safe.
