Desolate Places - The Final Chapter

It's been almost fourteen months since I started posting Return and Rebuild the Desolate Places. There were two long hiatuses where I struggled with finding the words to move the story forward and then to complete it. I know along the way I've lost readers as people have fallen away from the White Collar fandom, or had just gotten fed up with the delays.

But it's done and today I am posting the final (and lengthy) chapter and the epilogue. I'd thought about holding onto the Epilogue until next week, but I decided against it. The story is complete and while the chapters were intended to be read in separate doses, the epilogue wraps the story up in a way I hope everyone who reads it finds satisfying.

It also has the most exquisite artwork by [livejournal.com profile] kanarek13.

Thank you to everyone who has stuck with me and this story. You have my deepest appreciation.

Hurrah! And congratulations!

I've been lagging behind on reading the chapters, but I've been looking forward to finding out how everything turns out. I'm just getting ready to drive down to my sister's house for the weekend, so I won't read the final installments until I get back -- I certainly don't want to rush through what I expect will be a satisfying read.
