I was wondering, wouldn't Peter have been tried with the rest of the Pink Panthers? I mean, even if he was behind the blinds while testifying, wouldn't his absence in the trial set off all the alarm bells for the PP? Or did they mock-sentence Peter to jail as well? Sorry I haven't quite wrapped my head around this...
