Thank you! I think El's protectiveness is one of my favorite moments in the story. We always think of Peter going after the people who hurt Neal, but I think that Elizabeth would, too.

And while Neal-as-Veela would be lovely to explore - in this world, Neal is non-magical. In fact, the original (and very spoilery) title of the story was "The Only Muggle in New York".
