Oh boy, that was a tough one. Already the beginning made my heart break with Peter taking his distance from Neal. Somehow, I did not expect Neal to die (maybe Diana or Jones?), so my heart is now stomped, shattered and buried six feet under. lol.
It was really beautifully (heart wrenching) written, so kudos.
Someway, somehow, this line made my eyes tear up :
“Are you coming home, Boss?” There were tears in her voice.
Diana is so vulnerable in there, that you know something bad has happened and something worse is bound to happen.
