In my head, as I wrote this - Peter had already fallen for El when she jumps him (Maybe I need to write a ficlet on this when everything else is done).

One of the real pleasures in writing this is rewatching the episodes and figuring out which parts of canon I want to remake. Sometimes it doesn't work and I end up not using what I've written, other times it falls together nicely.
