You didn't upset me...you communication skills are just fine.

What I was trying not to go into was this...

Adoption is always a very viable choice for anyone wanting to be a parent, whether or not they can have children through biological means or not.

But in the context of the story, adoption would be difficult. If the story wasn't a dream sequence, and Peter could be carrying the Huntington's mutation, he and Elizabeth probably would not want to have a family - considering the terrible cost that the disease would take.

That the Huntington's part of the story is a dream sequence makes adoption an irrelevant part of the discussion - given El's reaction to the dream, it's clear that she doesn't want to have children.

And for what its worth, my eldest sister just happens to be adopted...and no one ever made any distiction amongst the three of us (She's 54 now).
