Needed a break from the writing, if just for a night. Began working with the loot from Tucson...



This isn't my usual thing, but it's something new. You can't tell yet, but the colors are going to be the rainbow, in spectrum order.

If it comes out well, I may offer it for the next fandom auction. Or one similar.

Will keep you posted as it progresses.

Ooh, very pretty. Looking forward to more pics. Suggestion: something to indicate size, perhaps, like a quarter sitting next to the sunflower-like bead?

Good idea about scale. The sunflower is a button - and it's about the size of a half-dollar (approx 35mm)

Can I also suggest you photo it on white background it helps to keep the colors natural.

And my overactive imagination of course supplied this:

I tried photographing it on white, but since the beads themselves are white, the whole piece disappears.

I'll throw it on the scanner and see how that comes out.

of course my mind was to busy creating the image of Peter I didn't connect white with white... well then the nice alternative is black it will to pull up the colors including white, just a good warm lamp would be needed :)
