Peter, Neal -- Bad judgement

“So you say there is no reason for us to believe that Mr. Caffrey had anything to do with the treasure theft,” and carefully not looking at Neal, Peter lies through his teeth and says: “No, Your Honor, absolutely no reason”, because despite Neal’s crimes and his sheer stupidity, there’s no way in hell Peter will let his family be torn apart when he finally got them all back safe together, and if he has to forego his morals to protect his friend and brother, if he feels like he has just lost a piece of himself, if he thinks he’s just become the world’s greatest hypocrite, then he will simply have to learn to live with that prize.
