A gorgeous, poignant piece--I love the understanding that Neal and Sara come to, and the 'mercy fuck' that was really a way to help both of them cope with their pain was just perfect. (As was Neal's use of the nickname 'Repo!')

The ending was painful, but it makes sense. And yet, I find myself hoping that Sara will return sooner rather than later, and they'll help ease each other's pain again, even if they don't become a couple here.
