Yeah, Epstein was in love with John for years and John knew. Many speculate that John slept with him because he did love him, although he wasn't gay and wasn't *in* love with him. John was obviously an open-minded guy with a huge heart. I just think it's beautiful that he wrote that song for him. Beautiful and heart-wrenching.
